Magnus Wislander
Magnus Wislander nicknamed 'The Hose' because of
his ability to slither through the Defense first
played for the national Swedish team from 1985 and
continued to represent his nation through 2004.
He competed in four Olympics beginning in 1988 Seoul
Olympics and were placed fifth. Sweden won silver
in the subsequent 1992 Barcelona Games, 1996 Atlanta
Games and 2000 Sydney Games. During Wislander's
four olympic career Sweden won 23 matches and lost
only 5.
